Five things that made me smile this week:
- MAIA’S PLAY DATE
I do love our play dates. It’s very much a win win because the kids are happy playing (sort of, there’s a lot of squabbling over toys..) and I get to have an adult conversation ( again, sort of, we do often find ourselves giggling like fifteen year olds). We had a lovely time at Kerry and Albie’s house this week. Maia was very impressed with his toy collection.
- THE UNICORNS
I needed a new notebook and obviously a new diary given its 2017 in THREE WEEKS. Not sure why I was drawn to unicorns but it made me smile and does it’s job so…
3. BETH’S CARDS
Beth and I have been sending each other Valentines Day cards since we were sixteen. I found this one the other day going through some drawers in my room. She also sent my very first Christmas card of the year.

5. DAD’S BIRTHDAY PRESENT
Dad specifically asked for cuff links this year. I thought these were cute. I also got him some handkerchiefs and a generous supply of biscuits, but they weren’t quite as photogenic.
