I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited for the New Year as I am today.
I’m not sure what it is. – NYE itself, my plans for 2017 or perhaps I’m just happier than I’ve been on any previous new year.
Either way, I’m thrilled to be celebrating with some of my favourite people, and for the first time in three years, I’m actually going out for New Year; in heels.
I do have resolutions; they’re along the lines of “get up 30 minutes earlier to fit more in” and “aim to read a book a week”. But my main resolutions for 2017 are simply to be more present, and even more grateful. -To stop worrying about the future and just be thankful for how wonderful my present is.
Which brings me to the thank yous.
Thank you to all you amazing people who continue to read my blog posts, it really means the world. – I hope I’ve made you smile.
