Have you always wanted to be a designer? What did you want to be when you were little? No I haven’t always wanted to be a designer, I wanted to be a lawyer right up until high school year 9 but I really got into textiles and quickly changed my mind.

If you weren’t a designer, what would you be? Probably a lawyer or gymnast
Do you have any favourite Printed Textile Designers? Owens & Kim, Mirjam Roudèn

How would you describe your personal Style?
My personal style in one word is comfortable, I don’t really like heels or anything that makes me feel uncomfortable. I will always go for a pair of trainers, jeans and t-shirt.
Where are your favourite places to buy clothes?
Topshop! I can just hear my friends now being like “oh so where did you get that from oh let me guess Topshop!” ASOS, adidas t-shirts, occasionally river island. Mostly my clothes are High street brands.

If you could only wear one label for the rest of your life what would it be?
Topshop!

If you could meet any three people in Fashion who would you want to meet?
Yohji Yamamoto, KTZ, Vivienne Westwood
Your designs are very unique, where did you get your inspiration for your latest collection?
I got my inspiration my family heritage, work class archives and street style. I used my father’s clothing and god mother’s shop that’s she owned when I was a child as my main inspiration source.
What do you love most about being a designer? I pretty much love everything about be a designer even the stressful moments, the I want to give up moments you feel when things go wrong because it’s the best feeling when I come out the other end and feel proud you push through it to get the end result.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I want my own brand, of course everyone dreams to have their own brand but I want to see someone walking down the street in something I designed, even if its only one person. However until then I would love to work with my favourite designer of all time Yohji Yamamoto.
