“Youth fades; love droops; the leaves of friendship fall; A mother’s secret hope outlives them all.”
– Oliver Wendell Holmes
Yesterday I took Maia into town to go present-hunting.
I wouldn’t usually bring my camera to the shops (they’re shops, what’s the point), but because it’s still relatively new I’m all excited about it and feel the need to take it everywhere I go.
So here are the moments I captured at lunch, in the street, enjoying a cupcake, and her saying enough is enough in the car.
Pretending she’s Sia.
“I’m done. Get that thing out of my face.”
So sweet
